The FOO teams of Batterie R

They control not only the artillery but also air assets such as helicopters and jet fighters. As the company commander’s primary source of firepower, they are critical to the Battle Group’s operations. Here is a portrait of the Forward Observation Officer (FOO) and Forward Air Controller (FAC) teams of Batterie R, 2nd Battalion Royal 22e Régiment Battle Group.
